This year it was revealed that the most highly anticipated Pokémon TCG sets were arriving in Japan. Incandescent Arcana is set to be released September 2nd, 2022, in Japan. Unlike the earlier Japanese set, the Origin Forme inspired Riesendo-inspired Lost Abyss, which brought back the lost zone mechanic, will include Rare Characters and Radiant Pokemon. This set is an exciting, but unusual Alolan Vulpix VSTAR, which follows the fun trend of Pikachu and Eevee, where the iconic form gets better and higher. This set, along with the Japanese set Paradigm Trigger, the fourth and final Sword & Shield set of 2022, which will follow the era, will be built on the fourth and final Dutch language set of the ‘Endominations’ series. Today we continue with an indescent Arcana previews and do some beautiful Full Art V from this set’s Secret Rare section.

N-DESIGN Inc. is a full-time art collector. Reshiram uses an excellent pose, lifting his chin and spreading his wings majestically. Against the dragon, the background is a swirl of warm orange, blazing red, and royal purple, which is supported by a light swirl that circles behind the Reshiram paper, thus creating depth in this textured foil card. Using the word of the golds for the Silver line art, the white and silver color palette of this Legendary Pokemon perfectly matches the card style. It’s a sleek, beautiful card that I can’t wait to get it out of the English language.
The Japanese-language sets often give us early ideas on what they may include, so be sure to watch out for our coverage. For more information, see the maps and the details of the main Pokemon TCG event here at Bleeding Cool.
