Since it is two months since our beta test began in late April. Ye-She-Yo! CROSS DUEL officially opened in all regions. Eventually, rollout is on the iOS and Google App Store.
This is the first time the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! game is widely available since the announcement last July and entering sporadic times for the test.
If anyone hadn’t followed this fun development period, Konami decided to a new way to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game on mobile using a unique four-way battle system. This was done by adopting elements from the traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, along with other iterations like Speed Duels, Rush Duels, and even Duel Links.
With that in mind, CROSS DUEL is a free-for-all Duel with a total of four players, where the goal is to use a whim whim and manage their monsters across three lanes – and cling to each other. Every Duel is only eight turns, so you will have to master Monster, Spell, and Trap cards to truly stand out in this new era of dueling.
During your CROSS DUEL journey, you will form tag teams with iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! characters such as ami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Jaden Yuki, and Yusei Fudo. This Tag Partners will give you access to unique skills, cards and more. Similarly, with the help of a Gacha system the main method of collecting cards is to collect cards.
A unique mechanic for CROSS DUEL is the use of Ace Monsters that are glued to your tag partners, give you special Master Skills. Using a Master Skill like Blue-Eyes White Dragons, you can destroy a monster via summon and the Dark Magician acts 300 damage to other players’ lives in order to activate a Spell.
If the game isn’t yet available in your area, you should check it periodically in the coming days because of the fact that Konami is tending to release its games in waves. With a successful global pre-registration campaign, all players will automatically get 1200 Gems to use in the Gacha system at the start of the game.
