It seems like Rockstar Games is seriously leaving Red Dead Redemption 2 behind, as the developer is doing pretty big moves. Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably Rockstar’s largest game at that time in terms of scope and scale owing to its dense world, long and rich story, and a massive selection of open-world activities. Rockstar even tried to emulate GTA Online’s success with Red Dead Online, a mode that never really took off in the same way and was officially confirmed as a largely dead mode. It is still receiving smaller updates and the server will remain online, but Rockstar confirmed that it won’t have major content drops like GTA Online coming forward.

Rockstar Games has updated its list of credits for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. The list ends with the message: “A thank you to all who contributed to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.”While this could be a simple way to reflect everyone who was working on the game after it released, many speculate that this means Red Dead Redemption 2 is truly over. Just a few days ago, a similar list was released for GTA Online. While it wasn’t certain what this meant, these sudden updates have many speculating that Rockstar is switching to Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar has already confirmed that the game is happening and that it has been ramping up development for a while now, but nobody knows when we will see this, but when it could release. Whether Rockstar is doing anything else on older projects to prioritize the Grand Theft Auto, then maybe we’ll hear something soon.

There’s a chance the Grand Theft Auto VI could be revealed next month ahead of the next earnings call of Take-Two. That’s one way in the past with other Rockstar reveals. The sudden recognition of the events over the years have also led many to believe that Rockstar is planning on giving them away sooner rather than later, otherwise it wouldn’t be good to break their silence. I have time and time to tell him, but in fact, Rockstar is just a prospect of planning something.

Do you think the Grand Theft Auto will be shown this year?
