Ed Boon is trying to understand what fans want to see next from NetherRealm Studios and suggest a videogame like that vs. DC Comics. Fans were in begging for a movie Marvel vs. DC for years. They’re the greatest names in the superhero world, and fans want to see what would happen if Iron Man went on the front and shits it up against Batman. In the 90s and 90s, Marvel and DC had a comic book crossover, which became a giant wish fulfillment for superheroes everywhere. With the rise of the MCU, fans also wanted to see the films of the same movie universe merged as one single big crossover.
If the film isn’t long before the film can make that happen, it’s thought that Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon tote the idea with a video game. On Twitter, Boon asked what fans would like to see coming from NetherRealm. A new Mortal Kombat, Injustice 3 and perhaps the most interesting one, a Marvel match, or Marvel vs DC. Of course, NetherRealm belongs to Warner Brothers and has enjoyed the various games of DC, in Injustice and the Mortal Combat, the same way as Marvel. Boon confirmed in 2019 he had a chat with Marvel about a game and really wanted to play a Marvel vs. DC game. But since then, there hasn’t been any more people who have come from it.
What do you like to see from the NetherRealm studio?

There’s probably a ton of logistics involved in legal rights, but the game’s going to happen if the fans demand it. The votes were roughly 39,000, and the Marvel vs. DC option is winning with over 33% of the votes. Of course, Marvel has had its own fights against Captain America and Supernatural vs. Supernatural Incident: Rise of the Imperfects, but given the love of Mortal Kombat and Injustice, this would be a league of its own for a lot of reasons.
