With Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder off to a successful start, Guardians want to know when it will end.

The latest installment of the Destiny 2 story offers Guardians around the galaxy the opportunity to embrace their inner pirate. In their attempts to undermine Eramis’ evil plot to recover powerful relics scattered amongst the stars, players have all new chances to plunder starships, compete in new game modes, and max out their Guardian’s power level.

So far, swashbuckling Guardians have been able to enjoy loads of free content and features like Arc 3.0 Subclass Updates, the Festival of the Lost Event, a revamped edition of the King’s Fall Raid, all new Pirate Hideout weekly missions and so much more. In addition, Season Pass holders have the full range of pirate-themed weapons, gear, armor, challenges, cosmetic rewards, and activities. For just $10, that’s a whole lot of booty.

Season of Plunder will likely end on Dec. 6. The 19th Destiny 2 season, the final installment of the Witch Queen storyline, is expected to fill the gap before Destiny 2: Lightfall kicks off the sixth year of Guardian glory on Feb. 28, 2023.

According to Bungie’s Season Pass FAQs, “some seasonal content will persist beyond its Season… until the Year ends,” for holders of the Season Pass for Season of Plunder.
